Miss Ruby Valentine, "The Alabaster Beauty",  embodies the spirit and essences of classic
striptease.  Since 2003 she has been a mainstay on the New York  burlesque scene.  

Ruby Valentine has performed with the top Burlesque stars at premier exhibitions and venues,
including Starshine Burlesque,  Le Scandal, Corio, The Slipper Room, RiFiFi, The New York
Burlesque Festival (2005 to 2008), MAO MAG parties, the Va Va Voom Room ,Pinchbottom
Burlesque, The Zipper Factory and various weddings, parties and other private events. In May
of 2008 Ruby performed with Le Scandal Cabaret at The Brighton Fringe Festival in England.  
This cake eaters dream currently has a role in the off Broadway play, The Gregor and Olga
Show", where she plays "Ruby" a sweet burlesque dancer with big city smarts and a heart of
gold.

Miss Valentine has appeared in various local,  national and international publications including,
BUST magazine, Bizarre mag, Time Out Magazine, V magazine, The Argus, various Brighton
publications, European press,  The Village Voice,  the New York Press and more.  She has also
worked extensively with artists and photographers in both fine art and pin-up setting.   In  
2006 Ruby landed a role in the TV series "Madman" which premired on AMC.  She played a
1960's burlesque bombshell.

Ruby is also a founding member of Big Apple Burlesque.  A fun and creative burlesque troupe
that presents one of a kind shows. BAB puts on fabulously glamorous shows including "Last
Call At The Starliner Lounge", a film noir inspired play with murder, lust and striptease.  They
are currently working on a new scripts.

Ruby Valentine creates most of her own costumes.  All original designs, ruby envisions a
dream costume then does her best to construct it.  She also takes the time to hand sew a lavish
amount of sequence, strategicly place Swarovski cyrstals, beads  and other adornments.

Miss Valentine mesmerises her audiences with her lyrical fan dances, and classic striptease
routines. Her hobbies include baking her famous cupcakes, drinking champagne, throwing
lavish parties, and day dreaming.
She resides in Manhattan
